We’re now looking for a Marketplace Manager to own and scale our fast-growing marketplace presence with a strong focus on Amazon and emerging platforms like TikTok Shop. We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Marketplace Manager to lead the management and development of our online marketplace accounts. In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing & Sales team to ensure our product listings are optimized, content is engaging, and accounts operate at peak performance. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for e-commerce and a desire to run a fast-growing channel.

1. STRATEGIC MARKETPLACE MANAGEMENT

  • Own end-to-end marketplace strategy with a strong focus on Amazon (EU & global).

  • Define growth roadmaps for key product categories, driving revenue and market share expansion.

  • Oversee portfolio management, ensuring product launches, pricing, and positioning are aligned with brand and commercial goals.

2. ADVANCED PRODUCT & CONTENT OPTIMIZATION

  • Lead the creation and enhancement of premium A+ Content, Brand Stores, and video assets.

  • Develop advanced SEO strategies to maximize organic ranking and share of voice across marketplaces.

  • Continuously improve content performance via A/B testing, keyword optimization, and conversion analysis.

3. PERFORMANCE LEADERSHIP & ANALYTICS

  • Set KPIs and regularly review marketplace performance (sales, RoAS, traffic, conversion rates).

  • Leverage data dashboards to identify growth opportunities, diagnose challenges, and propose actionable solutions.

  • Present performance insights and strategic recommendations to senior leadership.

  • Monitor chargebacks, overbilling and other related fees.

4. ADVERTISING & CAMPAIGN OVERSIGHT

  • Own Amazon Advertising (PPC, DSP) and promotional strategy to maximize ROI and category visibility.

  • Plan and execute seasonal campaigns, Prime Day strategies, and promotional events across marketplaces.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to align paid strategies with broader marketing plans.

5. COMPLIANCE & OPERATIONAL EXCELLENCE

  • Ensure all marketplace activities meet Amazon’s policies, compliance standards, and operational best practices.

  • Drive inventory planning and demand forecasting in collaboration with supply chain and operations teams.

  • Implement process improvements to streamline listing, reporting, and campaign management.

6. MARKET & COMPETITOR INTELLIGENCE

  • Lead competitor benchmarking and category analysis to identify emerging trends and

  • white-space opportunities.

  • Drive innovation in marketplace strategies, anticipating algorithm and policy shifts.

  • Support new product development decisions with market insights and data-backed recommendations.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related fields (HBO/WO level).

  • 5+ years’ experience managing Amazon and multi-marketplace accounts with proven track record of growth.

  • Deep knowledge of Amazon Seller Central, Vendor Central, and Amazon Advertising.

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel and marketplace analytics tools (e.g., Helium 10, Channelengine, Amvisor).

  • Strategic thinker with excellent stakeholder management and leadership skills.

  • Fluent in Dutch and English (written and spoken).

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with ability to thrive in fast-paced, scaling environments.
